as protections
against autocracy,
despotism & tragic
megalomania.
it is the echoing
ring of freedom
between the stars,
between the earth &
the hearts
of human kind.
except for the vigilance
of such benevolent law––
government of, by & for
the people shall forever
perish from
the earth.
