our two-headed democracy
birthed a bi-polar
political revolution––
a quieter, people-serving one
& a brutal, egotistical,
bombastic one
we don’t believe in
government––
we don’t even
vote––
we see our fellow country
men as enemies
& we hate
them––
we hate outsiders
too
we seem to be
entertained by thundering
aches in our heads––
we want freedom of
speech
to be politically
incorrect––
to impress & horrify
the world
with inconsistent
threats
that keep the media
on edge
we want freedom of
religion
as long as its our own
brand
we love titanic
struggles & the sight
of blood––
soon we will
be great
again
with a white god
president
with his mop-top
hair
nobody can push us
around
we’re mad
as hell
& ready to go
to war with
everybody
war is the way
we do
business
we don’t take
prisoners
& we’re here
to win
