the tiger roams &
ravishes in the
jungle
night.
he is captured by
every word i
say.
claws spark
against
steel bars &
rabid fangs
threaten the
village
sleep.
why not free the
hungry tiger from
his articulate
cage?
the truth is spoken &
beyond speech;
the tiger is
wrathful & his
heart is
hidden.
for now i keep my
tiger in a cage;
i cannot control
his carnivorous
dreams.
one day
i will feed the
tiger my
soul.
