when i grow up
i want to go to sleep
& wake up drunk
like rumi.
...to be the gardener
of dawn
who nurtures
the sun, moon
& planet patch.
i want to be
the earth
so filled with wisdom
everything that touches me
grows.

as ambitious
as a chrysanthemum
blossoming totally
from the inside
