a buddhist monk leaps off a cliff
to avoid being devoured by a tiger.
he grabs a vine hanging out of the cliff
with his hands & finds himself dangling
in space.
he looks down
sees a lion pawing the ground
& growling.
with a ravenous tiger above him
& a roaring lion below him
the monk sees a temptatious strawberry
within his reach.
he eats it.
