rich & pasty-faced, the
shareholders want
more
& they don’t
care how they get
it.
they’re unconcerned with
your family or any
family
they’re not troubled by
questions of war or
peace, the welfare of
global economies or the
air we
breathe.
after all, aren’t they
risking their
money?
what could be
more
awesome?
they never personally
demand austerity,
they have suited
thugs to do
that. & starving
people are merely
poor investments
suffering from
inefficiencies. ¶
they like it when
the big swallow the
small,
applaud the lay
offs of the young
& the (smallest)
retirement packages
for the
old.
for now, they’re
banking on the
short
term.
if your country
chokes on it
they’ll take their
money else
where.
at least until
it becomes a
bloody
bargain.
